Anand Mohan Singh.

[ about ]

From API gateways to RAG pipelines.

I work on the gateway, the queue, the cache — the systems AI products forget they need.

At Kyndryl I shipped a RAG stock recommendation service, refactored a Java API gateway across five microservices, and automated multi-cloud deployments on EKS, AKS, and GKE. At Oracle I led CX Sales delivery, architected enterprise SSO for 5,000+ employees, and deployed NLP bots that cut first-response time from hours to minutes.

I care about the things that survive scale: legible interfaces, boring infrastructure, fast feedback loops, and prose that respects the reader.

From API gateways to RAG pipelines — restraint is a feature. Most of the work is choosing what not to ship.

Kyndryl

Software Engineer (Co-op)

Apr 2025 — Dec 2025

New York, NY · Platform Engineering

  • Designed a RAG stock recommendation service in FastAPI with LangChain and Pinecone serving 500k+ monthly queries; async retrieval and Redis (95% hit rate) held sub-100ms p99 on cached queries, surfaced via a React analyst dashboard.
  • Refactored the Java API gateway fronting REST and Kafka traffic across 5 microservices, adding Resilience4j circuit breakers, timeouts, and query tuning to drop p99 latency 850ms to 280ms and cut timeout errors 85%.
  • Rolled out JWT-based OIDC with Spring Security across 8 Java services securing 1M+ monthly API requests, designing token-validation filters and a staged dual-auth cutover with zero downtime for legacy clients.
  • Built an internal developer platform on Backstage with Node.js and Java APIs and GitHub-webhook automation, setting the service-scaffolding and RBAC standard adopted by 30+ engineers across the org.
  • Automated multi-cloud deploys for 8 microservices across EKS, AKS, and GKE with Terraform, Helm, and CI and CD pipelines, cutting environment spin-up from days to under an hour.

Oracle

Software Engineer

Sep 2022 — Jun 2024

Bengaluru, India · Cloud · CX Sales

  • Owned technical delivery for CX Sales (50k+ customers) alongside an 8-engineer offshore team, building Next.js pages and Java REST APIs and driving SSR, caching, and payload work to cut page load 60% and lift release cadence 3×.
  • Shipped 3 NLP support bots in Python with Transformers and LangChain handling 100k+ monthly queries at 85% intent accuracy, owning intent routing, KB retrieval, and human handoff to cut first-response time from hours to minutes on common intents.
  • Architected enterprise SSO with OAuth2, OIDC, and SAML across 4 applications via custom Java middleware, automating user provisioning for 5,000+ employees.
  • Mentored 5 new hires as code-review shadows on the CX Sales codebase, ramping them on Java REST APIs and Next.js through weekly review sessions and pair-programming on production tickets.
  • Migrated 10 Java ETL services onto Kubernetes with Helm manifests and Jenkins blue-green pipelines, processing 500GB+ daily at 99.9% reliability and lifting deploy cadence from weekly to daily.

Oracle

Associate Software Engineer

Aug 2021 — Aug 2022

Bengaluru, India · Integration

  • Implemented a Java migration framework with JDBC, REST APIs, and ETL transformations to move 250k+ records from on-premises to cloud, adding reconciliation checks and incremental cutovers to validate data integrity.
  • Built 5 REST and SOAP connectors linking Salesforce, SAP, and internal systems with idempotency and retry logic, processing 50k+ daily transactions at p95 under 100ms and cutting manual data entry 75%.
  • Created a TypeScript/React UI component library with 25 reusable components and Storybook documentation, improving UI consistency across 20+ engineers.

What others say.

I have worked with Anand on several Oracle projects and would welcome the opportunity to have Anand on future projects. Anand is very technically adept but more so looks for better ways and options to do things. Anand has been great to work with on every project.
Nathan Turner

Director Technical Manager · Oracle

I had the pleasure of overseeing a project where Anand was one of the senior cloud analysts. The project consisted of migrating one of Oracle's largest CX cloud customers to an innovative service, under a very constrained timeline. During the project Anand demonstrated not only his distinctive technical skills, becoming familiar with the new service and associated tools very fast, but also the positive attitude, team spirit, customer mindset, and leadership that was required to successfully deliver the project. I would jump at the opportunity of having Anand in my team again.
